Char Dham Buddhist Tour

Day 1 : Kathmandu – Varanasi

• Depart from Kathmandu via flight to Varanasi, India.
• Arrival at Varanasi airport and transfer to the hotel.
• Evening visit: kashi vishwanath Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat.
• Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 2 : Varanasi – Sarnath – Bodh Gaya

• Early morning boat ride along Ganges River (optional).
• Visit Sarnath – the site of Buddha’s first sermon.
• Key sights: Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Sarnath Museum.
• Drive to Bodh Gaya (approx. 4–5 hours).
• Evening free for rest or local exploration.

Day 3 : Bodh Gaya Sightseeing

• Full day sightseeing in Bodh Gaya, the place of Buddha’s enlightenment.
• Visit Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, Thai Monastery, Tibetan Monastery, and other international monasteries.
• Evening meditation or free time.

Day 4 : Bodh Gaya – Kushinagar

• Drive from Bodh Gaya to Kushinagar (approx. 4–5 hours).
• Visit Mahaparinirvana Temple – where Buddha attained Nirvana.
• Explore Rambhar Stupa, Japanese Temple, and other key sites.
• Overnight stay in Kushinagar.

Day 5 : Kushinagar – Lumbini

• Drive from Kushinagar to Lumbini, Nepal (approx. 6–7 hours, crossing the border at Sunauli).
• Arrival in Lumbini – the birthplace of Lord Buddha.
• Evening visit: Maya Devi Temple and surrounding monasteries.

Day 6 : Lumbini – Kathmandu

• Morning sightseeing in Lumbini:
• Ashoka Pillar, Monastic Zone, Sacred Garden.
• Afternoon domestic flight from Bhairahawa (BWA) to Kathmandu.
• Arrival in Kathmandu, tour ends
